Team In Training Summer Season Has Begun!

This week kicks off almost a month of Information Meetings for Team In Training. The Information Meetings are offered all over the Denver metro and Colorado Springs area to provide potential participants with information about the summer season events.

The 2010 summer season will feature events such as Rock 'n' Roll San Diego 1/2 Marathon and Marathon, Steamboat Srings 1/2 Marathon and Marathon, Boulder Sunrise Triathlon, Hike Grand Canyon, and more! For a complete list of events please visit the Team In Training website.

LLS Rocky Mountain Chapter Happenings - January 11 - 17

• Wednesday, January 13, 6 - 8 p.m. is our School & Youth Assembly training. For anyone who enjoys kids and wants to help our organization, this is your chance. We will be providing volunteers with tools to help us conduct assemblies and planning parties at schools participating in the Pennies for Patients campaign. • Thursday, January 14, 6 - 8 p.m. is the Light The Night Appreciation and Awards Reception at Dr. Degregori's Lab. This wonderful event will give volunteers who raised over $1,000 an opportunity to be appreciated for their great work. Attendees will be treated to a tour of the lab and information on what Dr. Degregori, an LLS funded researcher is doing in the fight against cancer.
